When is liposuction on the stomach useful?

Liposuction should not cause weight loss; it works to improve the silhouette of the body. Modern methods today make it possible to tighten the skin more.

However, liposuction is not suitable for obese patients.

Different ways

The most common methods currently used for liposuction are gradation, by jet and more recently by radio frequency.

The swelling technique has been used for many years and is particularly mature. The method that relies on jet water is particularly nice on the fabric and is used when the cloned adipose tissue is again implanted - for example to enlarge the breast.

If the patient, in addition to abdominal liposuction, also wants an additional tightening of the skin, the RF-assisted liposuction provides itself.

Sequence of liposuction

Before the actual procedure, a health examination must be carried out to eliminate potential risks.

In sleep and drowsiness, a solution of sterile water, sodium carbonate and anesthetic is injected into the subcutaneous fatty tissue at the site to be treated using small incisions. After a short exposure time of about 30 minutes, the emulsion of the fat cells is suctioned and the injection solution is back with a special thin cannula. For this purpose, vacuum pump is used with continuous suction.

Liposuction is deeper in the abdomen initially, and after surface fat pads bear fruit, which are removed with a small cannula.

Finally, bonded in miniature sections with plasters and bandages applied. In addition, the patient is given a flexible bandage or corset pants he has to wear during the next few weeks.

The patient can rest in the hospital room after treatment until it is taken.

Pain and scars

As a general rule, the patient has minimal pain after liposuction, which usually depends on movement. Where needles are inserted, scarring remains small. However, the doctor usually tries to place cuts in the skin folds so that the axes are almost invisible.

There may also be skin irregularities or scratches. In addition, liposuction in the skin irritated from the inside, which can lead to initial stiffness. But you can prevent these undesirable side effects by compressing lymphatic drainage and lipomassage.

What should be considered after liposuction on the stomach?

In the first few days after liposuction, swelling and bruising may occur. During the first two days, you should not leave any water for wounds, but from the third day you can shower again.

Regular bandage changes are also required during the first week as some fluids may leak out of the hole channels. It is recommended to wear compression clothing for 3 weeks.

In addition, compact lymphatic drainage and vacuum massage are ideal for optimal aftercare. You can improve the result.
